Many women feel like they could never live up to the dazzling beauty of their favorite celebrities. What they don't know is that this dazzling beauty is often a very clever illusion. In addition to Photoshop, celebrities are made beautiful with lighting and of course, makeup. If you want to see what these so-called stars really look like, you need to check out some pictures of celebrities with no makeup. Once upon a time this was something you just couldn't find. These days, however, you can locate plenty of pictures.

The Internet is a great place to find photos of your favorite stars with bare faces. I have personally seen photos of celebrities like Madonna, Heidi Klum, Britney Spears, Pamela Anderson, Goldie Hawn, Oprah Winfrey and more without a stitch of makeup on their faces. And guess what? They look just like regular women, with flaws and imperfections. All you have to do is use a search engine and look up a keyword phrase like celebrities without makeup. You will find all kinds of choices.

Magazines may also sometimes show celebs without makeup. For example, there have been a few features in celebrity gossip magazines like Star and In Touch Weekly that have shown certain actors and actresses without any makeup on. What is especially dramatic is to see a picture of a fully made up celebrity next to a picture of the same celebrity with no makeup on. When you look at these pictures you will see the difference expertly applied cosmetics can make. Once you learn the beauty secrets of the stars you can try them at home on yourself.

There are lots of books out there that will teach you the secrets of professional makeup artists. Some of these books may also feature celebrities with no makeup. Bobbi Brown Beauty is a book by the popular makeup artist (and creator of her own makeup line) of the same name. The late Kevyn Aucoin was perhaps the most famous makeup artist of all time and released several great how-to books including Making Faces and Face Forward. There is even a posthumous biographical book called A Beautiful Life that features some of Kevyn's work and best makeup tips. Another great title that can teach you celeb beauty secrets is Makeup Makeovers: Expert Secrets for Stunning Transformations by Robert Jones.
